Infinity is a spatial concept, it is continuous light.
A very thin ribbon, in a particular stainless steel and only 18 millimeters wide, cuts the space and produces indirect light.
It is possible to adapt, stretch and orient Infinito from wall to wall, from ceiling to floor.
Infinito dematerializes the lamp object, transforming it into something else, leaving only a trace, a line and then not even that anymore, just a concept ... only light.
It is a tribute to the art of Lucio Fontana and his spatial concepts.
A very thin metal ribbon "cuts" the space and produces indirect and direct light.
The graphic strength of this system is surprising, for its ability to be integrated and at the same time present in space.
The product is VISIBLE and can also be purchased at our Showroom: Crespi 1977 - via Magenta 48, Busto Arsizio (VA).

DAVIDE GROPPI - A STORY. A STORY OF LAMPS. From the end of the 1980s, starting from a very small laboratory in the historic center of Piacenza, Davide Groppi invents and produces lamps with the homonymous brand.
Over time, creative and entrepreneurial independence has allowed him to develop original and recognizable projects, distributed throughout the world.
Projects that come from the heart and the brain, intuitions that emerge from a certain way of being and thinking, where simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and amazement are the fundamental elements.
Davide Groppi lamps are born from the need to give shape to a need or a meaning.
His inspirations are art, ready-made, magic, the desire to do things with your hands or simply the desire to play and joke with light.
Light, for Davide Groppi, is a wonderful opportunity to seduce and excite.
Davide Groppi has always worked with a close-knit group of collaborators, with whom he shares all his ideas. During his many years of activity, Davide Groppi has developed projects and installations together with various design companies including: De Padova, Boffi, Paola Lenti and Christofle. There are countless jobs around the world: homes, shops, museums.
Activities in the hospitality sector are significant. Some of the most important starred chefs have chosen Davide Groppi's light for their restaurants: Albert Adrià, Massimo Bottura, Massimiliano Alajmo, Moreno Cedroni, Carlo Cracco, Gennaro Esposito, Giancarlo Perbellini, Ciccio Sultano and many others.
Davide Groppi's work has been repeatedly recognized through publications and awards. We remember the Edida award, in 2011, for the Sampei lamp; the Design Plus Award, in 2014, for the Neuro lamp; the double XXIII ADI Compasso d'Oro, in 2014, for the Nulla and Sampei lamps; the ADI Compasso d'Oro Honorable Mention in Tetatet, in 2016. The ADI Compasso d'Oro award is considered the most historic and prestigious design award in the world.
Since June 2019, Sampei has been lighting the Studio in the Stained Glass Window of the President of the Republic, as part of the "Quirinale Contemporaneo" project.
Essence. Space. Light.
Three words that represent Davide Groppi's thought. Our idea.
We felt the need to look people in the eyes who want to experience our emotions and it is for this reason that in 2012 we started the Spazio Esperience project.
Spazio Esperience is the place where we present the result of our work. A place open to designers and to all those who want to immerse themselves in our world.
A place to tell us, to show how our lamps are born, creations made of ingenuity and imagination, of passion and organization, of heart and brain.
Spazio Esperience is inspired by two different but complementary essentialities: Scandinavian and Japanese.
Our lights resonate with a typically Northern European design, made of original period furniture and objects that have simplicity and lightness in common with us, but also the importance of combining emotion and functionality.
A clean line that refers to another great culture that has always inspired us, the Japanese one.
Two worlds distant only in appearance, but united by purity, the ability to work on the essential and to create original and recognizable moments within a linear, clear and never redundant path.
Within our Experience Area we try to tell all this, giving all visitors an intense, intimate and unforgettable moment.
