AUTHOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Paolo Fiorellini was born in 1961 in Sarzana (La Spezia) where he lives and works. In 1985 he attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara. Initially his artistic work was characterized by a language between figuration and Expressionism; since the nineties his painting has reached a more informal and material-rich gesture, so he dedicated himself to experimenting with materials, including silicone, in which he often included natural elements (flowers, grass or fish).
The product is VISIBLE and can also be purchased at our Showroom: Crespi 1977 - via Magenta 48, Busto Arsizio (VA).
Fiorellini is interested in the substance and matter of pigments and surfaces; favors color for absorbed or radiating energy, his research consists in creating disorientation and in proposing icons and archetypes capable of suggesting concepts and moral principles. Multifaceted visual artist, he ranges between painting, sculpture, assemblage and performance, with results that can be placed between the Transavantgarde and the most recent object research.
